Excise seizes 3000 liters of liquor, destroys fake liquor production center in forest area

Excise authorities intensified operations against liquor production centers in forest areas, citing the upcoming Sabarimala pilgrimage season. During a search in the forest areas of Pampavalli, a large fake liquor production center was found and destroyed. The excise team seized 3000 liters of liquor and various equipment, which was estimated to yield over 1000 liters of liquor. Authorities stated that the seized liquor was ready to be distilled within 10 days, and the group planned to stock about 2000 liters for future distribution.
