K.T.G.A demands withdrawal of MDR on UPI transactions above ₹2,000

The Kerala Textile and Garments Dealers Welfare Association (K.T.G.A) Kottayam District Committee demanded the immediate withdrawal of the central government's decision to impose MDR on UPI transactions exceeding ₹2,000. The protest was held at the Kanjirappally BSNL office, where K.T.G.A District President George Kudalli inaugurated the gathering. Leaders stated that imposing additional charges on UPI transactions would create a major financial burden, especially for small traders.
