AISF District Secretary allegedly brutally assaulted by police at Karunagapally station

AISF Pathanamthitta District Secretary Sharath Lali alleged that he was brutally assaulted by police at the Karunagapally Police Station. According to Sharath Lali, the assault occurred when he arrived at the station early yesterday morning to see the brother of an arrested student. He alleged that five police officers from Adur and Karunagapally stations assaulted him. Sharath Lali stated that the CI of Karunagapally spoke to him with shouts, and despite him identifying as the AISF District Secretary, the CI allegedly said, 'Take him out and beat him up.'
