Arrest made in case of cheating involving mortgaged nose rings

Kotamangalam Police arrested Minimal (48) in a case involving cheating using mortgaged nose rings. The accused is accused of cheating by mortgaging 409.45 grams of nose rings and defrauding forty-one lakh rupees at a private financial institution in Kotamangalam. The nose rings were allegedly mortgaged between January 2026 and September 22.
