Chief Minister directs assessment of rain situation; Teekoy incident reported

The Chief Minister directed that the state's rain situation be assessed on an hourly basis, calling an emergency meeting of the Idukki and Kottayam collectors. The state reported six deaths across the state due to heavy rains today. Separately, a Chennai native died in Teekoy, Kottayam, after a landslide hit his bike.
