Children from Kottayam selected for Melashanthi duties at Sabarimala temple

Devanandan Arjun, son of Arjun V from Kottayam Karaapuzha, and Anashwara M Ranjith, son of Sharmada R V from Kottayam, were selected for the Melashanthi duties at the Sabarimala Malikapuram temple. The selection was made by Rama Varma Raja of Panthalam Kodaram, based on a report by retired Justice K T Thomas, following the 2011 Supreme Court order. The children will proceed to Sannidhanam after darshan at the large Koyikkal temple on October 17.
