CM Vijayan honours Head Constable for daring effort to catch smugglers of prohibited tobacco products

Chief Minister Vijayan honoured Head Constable Vel Murugan at the Secretariat for his daring effort to catch smugglers of prohibited tobacco products. The incident occurred on the Kochi-Salem National Highway on September 27. The police successfully apprehended three individuals who attempted to escape in a car, despite the Head Constable climbing onto the roof rail.
