Compensation granted to traders and commercial building owners affected by Mundakkai–Chooralmala disaster

The government has issued an order granting compensation to those affected by the Mundakkai–Chooralmala disaster. Compensation is provided to traders and commercial building owners who suffered losses. A total of ₹7,19,99,400 has been allocated. The compensation will be given to 48 owners and 28 licensed commercial entrepreneurs, who own 128 commercial units with building numbers.
