Consumers can now buy and test net meters for Purappura solar projects

Consumers can now buy and test net meters required for connecting Purappura solar power stations to the grid. Meters purchased online or from authorized vendors can be tested at the Thiruvananthapuram Meter Testing and Standards Laboratory or respective district labs under the Electrical Inspectorate Department. The fees for a single-phase meter and a three-phase meter are ₹665 and ₹1,105, respectively. Submitting the test report along with the self-purchased meters to the KSEB section offices will suffice.
