Court awards 1.77 crore compensation to family of Kollam Sudhi

The Kottayam Motor Accident Claims Tribunal has awarded compensation to the family of Kollam Sudhi, a popular actor and mimicry artist who passed away in a vehicle accident. The court ordered the insurance company to provide ₹1.77 crore to Sudhi's wife, mother, and two children, which includes 8.5% interest on ₹1,07,00,000. The court also directed New India Assurance Company, the third respondent, to deposit the amount in court within 30 days.
