CPM Kottayam District Committee Restructures, Issues Strict Directives on Loan Repayments

The CPM Kottayam expanded District Committee meeting decided on significant changes in the party's organizational structure following the election defeat. Key appointments included P Shanavas to the District Secretariat and K D Sugathagan (Changanassery Area Secretary) to the District Committee. The meeting also appointed Archna Sadashivan (DFI District President), T S Sharath (Secretary), Babu George (Ettumanoor Area Secretary), P Sashidharan (Vaikom Area Secretary), and P K Vijayakumar (KSS State Secretary) as special invitees to the District Committee. District Secretary T R Raghunathan stated that the committee passed resolutions demanding the immediate repayment of loans taken by leaders from cooperative banks, alongside addressing police action against the protest regarding the Election Commission's resignation and the ED action against Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan.
