Decision taken to restart construction of Kottayam's skywalk project

A high-level meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram decided to restart the construction of the long-awaited skywalk project in Kottayam. Transport Minister C.P. John stated that the skywalk, which prioritizes pedestrian safety, is a key initiative of the Road Safety Mission. The budget for the project includes 15 crore rupees for this year, and the minister clarified that the remaining funds can be requested from the Planning Board. The next meeting to finalize the project's blueprint will be held at the Kottayam Collectorate on September 30.
