Kottayam-Ernakulam Road Project to Reduce Travel Time; State Government to Submit Proposal to Centre

A new road is planned to address the travel difficulties on the Kottayam-Ernakulam route. The state government is moving forward with the Kottayam-Kochi Road project, connecting National Highways 183 and 66. MP K. Francis George stated that the state government will submit a recommendation to the central government for the proposed corridor. The Chief Minister and Public Works Minister also assured that the state would provide the recommendation.
