Health Minister assures investigation into structural defects at Kottayam Medical College Surgical Block

Health Minister K. Muralidharan assured an investigation into the structural defects of the new Surgical Block at Kottayam Medical College. MLA Kantha Suresh raised concerns in the Legislative Assembly regarding the falling ceilings, water leakage, and electrical-plumbing faults, stating they pose a major threat to patients and staff. The minister confirmed that joint inspections were conducted on August 8 by a team led by the KIIFB Project Advisor, and necessary steps have been taken to rectify the issues.
