Malankara Church Head visits Ethiopia for Sliba Perunnal

Malankara Metropolitan and Malankara Church Head, Baselios Marthoma Mathews Trithiyan, arrived in Ethiopia for the Sliba Perunnal. He will be the chief guest at the Ethiopian Orthodox Church's Sliba Perunnal. The visit was undertaken following an invitation from the Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Abuna Mathyasius. The Holy Trinity Cathedral and Addis Ababa Bole International Airport provided official receptions for the Holy Catholicos. The Patriarch, His Holiness Abuna Mathyasius, received the Malankara Church Head at the Cathedral, followed by a joint prayer. The reception at the airport was given by Archbishop Abuna Malkisdech and Abuna Diyaschoros.
