Man sentenced to life imprisonment and fined ₹3 lakh for murdering girlfriend's husband

The Kottayam Additional District and Sessions Court (I) sentenced an accused man to life imprisonment and a fine of ₹3 lakh for murdering his girlfriend's husband. The incident occurred at Abimili Bhavan in Erumely, Vellavoor, Erath, Vadakara Kara. The court also imposed three years' imprisonment and a fine of ₹10,000 for trespassing into a house. The murder took place on January 15, 2020, around 1:00 AM, near Srinivapuram Colony in Erumely, where the victim, Vijayakumaran, resided.
