Mandatory Police Clearance Certificate for Private Bus Employees in Kottayam

Following increased accidents and complaints regarding the misconduct of private bus employees, the police are making a police clearance certificate mandatory for private bus staff in Kottayam, modeled after Kochi. This mandatory PCC will be implemented gradually for all employees. Training on behavior and traffic rules will be provided to both existing and new staff, after which the certificate will be issued by bus owners and the police.
