MG University allocates ₹1.78 crore for research fellowship arrears

The University Syndicate has allocated ₹1.78 crore to cover the long-pending research fellowship arrears for research students under Mahatma Gandhi University. This decision addresses the amount that was pending since 2019. Syndicate members Dr. Thomas Kuruvila and Kumari Ann Sebastian stated that steps will be taken soon to make this fellowship benefit available to students researching in autonomous colleges and elsewhere.
