Motor Vehicle Department suspends license of private bus driver for driving while distracted

The Motor Vehicle Department suspended the license of Anandu Anil Kumar, a resident of Kurichy, for driving a private bus while distracted. The action was taken against Anandu, the driver of the 'Jesus' bus, which replaced a bus involved in an accident at Chanthakavala that claimed one life. The department took action after videos of Anandu driving the bus with one hand while looking at a mobile phone were shared on social media.
