Operation Toofan expands to ward levels with 'Janasena' to ensure public participation in anti-drug efforts

As part of strengthening 'Operation Toofan,' launched by Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala against drug use and sales across the state, the project is being expanded to ward levels in collaboration with local self-government institutions. The plan involves forming 'Janajagrata Samithis' (Public Awareness Committees) at the ward level under the name 'Toofan Thadhesam - Janasena.' These committees aim to ensure public participation in anti-drug activities, with local representatives, Kudumbashree members, ASHA workers, Haritha Karma Sena members, and various youth organizations leading the efforts.
