Restoration of Mannakkanad–Kurichithanam Road Begins After Two Years of Distress

The process of restoring the Mannakkanad–Kurichithanam road began under the leadership of Kottayam District Panchayat Member Josmon Mundakkal. Using ₹5 lakh from the ₹30 lakh allocated by the District Panchayat, the inauguration of the soil testing was conducted for the area requiring a protective wall. The initiative was reactivated following continuous demands from the Marangattupilly Grama Panchayat and local residents. The District Panchayat Member stated that further steps will be expedited after receiving the soil testing report.
