RTO strengthens checks in Kottayam over minors driving vehicles

The Motor Vehicles Department is intensifying checks in Kottayam to prevent minors from driving vehicles on the streets. According to Kottayam RTO D. Jayaraj, parents and vehicle owners face jail time and heavy fines if a child commits an offense. The RTO stated that checks will be strictly implemented on various roads and school premises across Kottayam district in the coming days.
