Scam Alert: Fake Parcels Arrive via COD, Cheating People in Kottayam

Scams are spreading in Kottayam, where fake parcels are delivered via Cash on Delivery (COD) using the names of major e-commerce platforms like Amazon. These scams target people who shop online, leading family members to accept the parcels and pay money upon delivery. Consumers are only aware of the fraud after opening the parcel, which often contains unusable or low-quality goods.
