Suspect arrested in temple treasury theft case after 13 years of hiding

Kelakam Police arrested Malamprath Sunilkumar (50), who was accused and convicted in the 2001 case of breaking into the treasury of the Murichilakkavu Temple and stealing money and ornaments. The police team, led by Kelakam S.H.O Melvin Vincent, arrested Sunilkumar at Malamprath House in Trippunithura, Ernakulam, where he resides in Kottiyoor Amsham Chungakkunnu. The suspect, who had been hiding for 13 years, was finally found and arrested by the Kelakam Police investigation team.
