Tharaja Vijayan Passes Away After Decades-Long Struggle for Answers to Husband's Mysterious Death

Tharaja Vijayan (90), a retired Panchayat Superintendent, passed away in Puthanukulathalakkulam, Vijayathara. She had struggled for 45 years to find the cause of death of her husband, S. Vijayan, who was the Executive Officer of Eraro Panchayat. S. Vijayan was found dead in the Panchayat office well on June 23, 1981. Tharaja Vijayan had initially started her service as a Panchayat Clerk and did not tie her hair until she retired as a Superintendent.
