Three officials booked in Pampady Block Panchayat over alleged forgery in contract renewal

Police registered an FIR against three officials, including the Pampady Block Panchayat Secretary, following a complaint by a Scheduled Caste woman entrepreneur. The complaint alleges that a fake contract was drawn and forged signatures were used on an empty stamp paper provided for contract renewal. The police have registered the case under non-bailable sections of law.
