Two-year-old boy dies in malnutrition at Karthikappally

A two-year-old boy died in Karthikappally due to malnutrition, according to a post-mortem. The child weighed seven kilograms, significantly less than the required 12 kilograms. The boy also suffered from anemia. The conclusion is that lack of proper care caused the child's death. The deceased is Rahul, two years old, son of Rajesh and Tara, residents of Karthikappally Mahadevikadu. The incident occurred after Tara was admitted to the hospital for delivery. The couple had previously been moved to a shelter in Pathanamthitta by local representatives due to complaints of neglect. The couple later left the shelter and rented accommodation, where the two-year-old boy died.
