Two-year-old dies after being hit by train; mother charged with murder

A two-year-old boy died after being hit by a train near Punnamoodu railway crossing. Police have registered a case of murder against the boy's mother, Akhila (31). The police stated that the accident occurred when the boy and his mother were standing in the middle of the track, allegedly because the mother intended to end her life.
