Waterlogging in Ettumanoor and Choottuveli causes travel difficulties

Heavy rain caused waterlogging in Ettumanoor and Choottuveli, near the Kottayam city limits. The waterlogging primarily occurred in Ettumanoor Town and near the Choottuveli Junction on the MC Road. Due to the high water level on the road, vehicle movement on the MC Road slowed down, and two-wheeler riders were greatly affected by the waterlogging. Locals allege that the waterlogging is caused by the improper cleaning of roadside drains and the accumulation of waste. Residents and travelers demand that authorities intervene immediately to clear the drains and ensure smooth water flow.
