Youth accused of causing vehicle accident in Chothi, claims attempted suicide

Police registered a case of attempted murder against Sharone (27) of Theennuzha, who was driving the vehicle involved in an accident in Chothi. Sharone told police that he had attempted suicide and was driving with his eyes closed. The car driven by Sharone hit four cars, scooters, and an auto-rickshaw, injuring nine people, including passersby. Four of the injured people sustained serious injuries.
