Students write first letters at Cheradikkavu Temple in Marangattupilly

On Vijayadashami, students wrote the first letters on the tongue using gold at the Saraswathi Mandapam of the Cheradikkavu Bhagavathy Temple. Previously, students who had placed study materials and musical instruments in the puja were given them back along with prasad. The temple distributed puja pencils and also gave prasad to everyone, including the elderly who wrote 'Akshara' on the 'Akshara Thalika'.
