Melukavu residents pass resolution against plywood factory construction

Melukavu residents held a special Grama Sabha meeting and passed a resolution against the plywood factory construction. The resolution stated that factory construction in the residential area must not be allowed under any circumstances. The meeting also demanded the cancellation of the site approval and building permits granted to Evergreen Plywood Industries.
