J. Joseph K. Mani stated that the inclusion of agricultural land in the Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESA) in 25 villages across 9 districts is a serious concern. He noted that the list submitted by the state government to the center on September 24, 2026, includes 8,590.69 sq km of land in 25 villages across 9 districts. This data indicates that agricultural land has been included in the ESA.
