45 Liters of Liquor and Auto Rickshaw Seized in Vaikom

An assistant excise inspector from the Kottayam Excise Enforcement and Anti Narcotic Special Squad, led by B Anand Raj, arrested Roy, a 55-year-old resident of Kulashakharamangalam Kara in Vaikom Taluk. Roy was arrested for allegedly transporting 45 liters of liquor in an auto-rickshaw (KL 36 M 0391) without a permit. The liquor, the auto-rickshaw, and the accused were subsequently handed over to the Vaikom Range for further action.
