Vigilance raid at Vaikom CI's office over bribery allegations

Vigilance teams conducted a raid at the Vaikom CI's office following complaints that CI Shameer Khan was widely accepting bribes. The investigation focused on various files and records at the station. Information received by the Kottayam Vigilance team indicated that bribes were being collected through a bank account opened in the name of an Assam native. The Vigilance team also searched the Kannara Bank branch in Vaikom and took CI Shameer Khan's phone into custody.
