Man arrested in Kanjirappally after seven-vehicle collision, police say it was a suicide attempt

Police arrested Sharoneen Philipu (27) from Koottikkal Puthur in Kanjirappally for alleged attempted murder. The police stated that the severe seven-vehicle accident at the Chothi Junction on NH 183 was a suicide attempt by the car driver. The accident occurred on Sunday morning around 8:15 AM, when the car, traveling at high speed from the Mundakayam area, hit five cars, an auto-rickshaw, and a scooter. Ten people, including children, were injured in the accident.
