Aushadhi faces controversy over alleged misuse of assets and alleged beauty treatments

Allegations surfaced that Shobhana George, who was the chairperson of Aushadhi, illegally used the institution's guest house and deluxe AC room for personal purposes. The allegations include a loss of nearly a crore rupees to Aushadhi due to the unauthorized use of the two-story building and the use of the deluxe AC room at Panchkarma Hospital. Shobhana George countered the beauty treatment controversy, stating that the treatment was conducted in the deluxe AC room of Aushadhi in July 2002, using the institution's funds.
