Dead wild boar found in Puthuppally; locals concerned about wild boar menace

A large wild boar was found dead in the Poomattam area near Puthuppally Panchayat. The carcass was discovered early Tuesday morning in front of a house belonging to Kunjumon. Although forest department officials were contacted, they instructed that the boar be buried in the nearby area due to its deceased condition. Locals noted that the wild boar menace is causing distress in Puthuppally and surrounding areas, with the animals frequently damaging crops at night.
