Health Minister seeks probe into alleged irregularities at Kottayam GMC surgical block

Health Minister K Muraleedharan has sought a Vigilance inquiry into alleged construction irregularities at the ₹270-crore surgical block at Government Medical College, Kottayam. This request follows repeated ceiling collapses within months of the block's inauguration by the previous LDF government. The inquiry will examine construction defects, technical lapses, and possible financial irregularities in the project.
