High Court Justice A. Badarudheen stated that the law will be enforced without regard to status or discrimination, addressing the appeal filed by former DGP T. Chathankari regarding the four-year sentence handed down by the Kottayam Vigilance Court in an illegal property accumulation case. The court granted the State Vigilance department until the 24th to submit a detailed reply affidavit, postponing the hearing to that date. Justice Badarudheen also clarified that the court did not issue an interim order regarding T. Chathankari's request for suspension of sentence and interim bail.
