School trip group safe after getting stuck in landslide and traffic jam

A school trip group from Pallam Bukana Gael's High School, which traveled from Kottayam, was safe after getting stuck due to a landslide and traffic jam on the Ooty-Meattupally road. The group, consisting of 78 students and eight teachers, was rescued after getting stuck on the road on Friday night. They were eventually moved to a school in Meattupally, where food and drinking water were provided by Tamil Nadu authorities.
