Landslide on Kottikkanam-Mundakayam route; private bus narrowly escapes accident

A landslide occurred near Peruvanthanam, Kaduva Para, on the Kottikkanam-Mundakayam path. While a private bus operating to Kattappana was passing, soil and stones fell from the hillside onto the road. Due to the bus being positioned on one side of the road at the time, the disaster was averted. Highway police are continuing efforts to clear the soil and restore traffic flow at the site.
