Melukavu Grama Panchayat 6th Ward Member Annamma Joseph dies after collapsing while preparing for a trip to Alappuzha

Annamma Joseph, a member of the 6th Ward of Melukavu Grama Panchayat, died after collapsing. She was the wife of Johnsen George (Sub Inspector, Mullaperiyar) and a native of Konippad Naduthottiyil. Annamma Joseph had served as a nurse at Muttom M Hospital and Erattupetta Sunrise Hospital. She collapsed while preparing to go on a trip to Alappuzha with friends from the Henry Baker College 1989 pre-degree batch. She was rushed to a private hospital in Thodupuzha but could not be saved.
