Train services to change due to track maintenance at Kochi Yard

Due to track maintenance at Ernakulam Yard, train services will change. Three trains—the Guruvayur-Chennai Egmore Express (departing on the 25th from Guruvayur), the Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express (departing on the 25th from Mangaluru), and the M.G.R. Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central AC Superfast Express (departing on the 25th from M.G.R. Chennai Central)—will now run via Kottayam. The railway announced that the Egmore Express will stop at Kottayam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, and Changanassery instead of Ernakulam Junction, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha, and Haripad. Similarly, the Maveli Express will stop at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, and Changanassery instead of Ernakulam Junction, Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha, and Haripad. The AC Superfast Express will stop at Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, and Changanassery instead of Ernakulam Junction and Alappuzha.
